Trevor Shick
Trevor Shick’s journey in recovery spans more than a decade and serves as the foundation of KindHabitLabs. First introduced to recovery at 18, he entered treatment for the first time at 21. Over the years, Trevor experienced the full spectrum of recovery settings — countless ICU stays, residential treatment centers, PHP and IOP programs, sober living facilities, and multiple stints in jail. Through it all, he also achieved several periods of long-term sobriety that deepened his understanding of what it takes to build lasting change.
Trevor’s lived experience eventually led him to leadership roles within the recovery community. He managed a men’s sober living home in Austin, Texas, and later worked with Odyssey House in downtown Salt Lake City. These roles gave him a firsthand perspective on the challenges faced by both residents and staff: accountability, communication, and structure were often difficult to maintain with outdated tools and fragmented systems.
Driven by the belief that recovery communities deserve better support, Trevor founded KindHabitLabs. Its flagship product, Roo Mi, is a digital house manager designed to modernize accountability, streamline operations, and strengthen connection across sober living and outpatient care. Through his work, Trevor is committed to creating the tools he wishes existed during his own journey — helping others find clarity, structure, and hope on the path to recovery.

Jack Neely
Since tinkering with computers in the 1980s, Jack Neely has dedicated his 25-year career to building robust technology solutions and empowered teams.
